Thank You for an Incredible Perioperative Nurses Week

To my amazing Denver AORN family,

As Perioperative Nurses Week comes to a close, I want to take a moment to thank every one of you for the extraordinary work you do, not just this week, but every time you step into the OR. Your dedication, expertise, and compassion truly define the heart of perioperative nursing. You safeguard our patients, support your teams, and elevate the standard of care in ways that deserve to be celebrated far beyond one week.

I also want to extend a big thank-you to everyone who attended our November education session hosted by Stryker at Maggiano’s. It was such a great evening of learning, connection, and community. Your engagement is what keeps our chapter vibrant and growing.

And I’m excited to share that our first-ever Denver AORN Journal Club is officially launching! Because of the Thanksgiving holiday, our first session will be on
Sunday, December 7th, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
I hope to see many of you there! It’s going to be a fantastic way to connect, learn, and strengthen our practice together.

As we move into the holiday season, please reach out with any questions, ideas, or suggestions, especially if there’s a volunteer opportunity or social event you’d love for our chapter to take part in this December. I’d love to hear from you.
